Overview

Barbara Kadesky completed her Master of Science in Nursing from Shenandoah University in 2014. She worked as a nurse at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital, the George Washington University Hospital, and many other facilities until 1996. Barbara decided to change careers and became a long-haul truck driver for more tan 10 years!

However, she missed patient care and came back in 2010 to Shenandoah University’s MSN program and has been practicing as a psychiatric nurse practitioner. She enjoys assisting patients with complicated psychiatric conditions and finding improved quality of life through quality clinical care.

Barbara destresses by spending time with her horses and dogs.
