Overview

Dr. Jack Winfrey is a Board-Certified psychiatrist with a forty-year background assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients with a variety of psychiatric disorders. Dr. Winfrey has treated patients at the Winchester Community Mental Health Center and worked in the Martinsburg Veterans Affairs Center forever! He was an associate clinical professor of psychiatry at WVU and an associate professor at VCU.

Dr. Winfrey attended the University of Virginia Medical School and completed his residency training at Virginia Commonwealth University Hospital. His areas of interest are schizophrenia, post-traumatic stress disorder, psychopharmacology, electroconvulsive therapy (ECT), and MAT for substance abuse. He has extensive experience working with combat veterans.

Dr. Winfrey enjoys gardening and animals.
