Susanne completed her MSW at Concord University in 2018 and her BS in Family Resources from WVU in 1990, both with honors. She works as a grief counselor at Hospice of the Panhandle since 2019. She provides grief support services through evidence-based counseling, educational presentations, support groups, and workshops.

She also has experience at Appalachian Regional Healthcare providing therapy for individuals, families, and groups.
