Welcome To

Eastern Panhandle Psychiatry

Our journey started in 2004 in Martinsburg WV with a small clinic and was limited to Evaluations and medication management. Over 18 years, we have served thousands of residents of WV and surrounding states and have grown into a multidisciplinary practice with Physicians, Nurse Practitioners, Psychologists, and Social workers. We also offer new treatments like rTMS and Ketamine therapy in addition to traditional modalities like medication management and Psychotherapy. We also do Medication-Assisted Treatment for opioid addiction. We take care of patients of all ages with the minimum age being 6 years.

One key difference between our practice and other psychiatric practices is DR Khan's training in Family Medicine and Psychiatry, we also look at any physical reason behind psychiatric symptoms.

We want to thank the people of Eastern Panhandle for trusting us with their mental health.

It is considered both a complex brain disorder and a mental illness. Addiction is the most severe form of a full spectrum of substance use disorders, and is a medical illness caused by repeated misuse of a substance or substances.

Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT)

Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) Is Utilized As A Replacement Therapy To Address Addiction to opiates or similar drugs. This Program Entails Regular Appointments with a psychiatrist or nurse practitioner, Urine Screens, And An Expectation To Participate In Educational And Supportive Therapy. This Creates A Comprehensive Approach To Building And Maintaining A Solid Foundation For Recovery.

Testimonials

What Patients Say About Us

Excellent care and innovative treatment options for Depression and PTSD. I would recommend Dr. Khan for a variety of Mental Health conditions. The staff is very kind and considerate. The TMS has worked extremely well for me, after 28 years of taking SSRI and mood stabilizers, antipsychotic meds, and all the side effects. I am in full remission of manic depression and the PTSD has been manageable for the last 4 months after treatment without psych meds thanks to Dr. Khan and TMS therapy.

Really like this office. Dr Khan cares more about the patients than about money. That is a definite. Dr Kahn has helped me tremendously the last couple of years and I wouldn’t want to go anywhere else. Staff is nice and helpful too.

              Chad

I’ve been seeing Dr. Khan for about 5 years now and never had any issues scheduling my appointments and getting the medication needed. My appointments are quick and easy and he listens to any concerns that I may have about the medication and asks how I’m doing with the medication and works with me if I need to up the strength without any hesitation. I definitely recommend him.

                Jason

Everyone on the office is super helpful and understanding! They are quick to respond. I use both the Doctor and Councilor and it has been the best experience I have had in a doctor’s office.

" The change of seasons bring memories and thoughts of the future, and reflections of the past. And like the changing seasons, people have periods of growth, and sometimes this includes a need for pruning. "

" A beautiful garden is cultivated purposefully, with consistent effort. Eastern panhandle psychiatry is here to support you through the weather of daily life, with its difficulties. "
